Leslie Science & Nature Center
PreK-5th grade Unity in Learning summer camp programs will take place at Leslie Science & Nature Center. LSNC has 50 acres of oak hickory forest, vernal ponds, prairies, and open fields for campers to explore. We're also home to a large variety of live animals, giving the campers opportunities for up-close encounters, such as invertebrates, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and birds of prey!
Leslie Science & Nature Center is a private nonprofit organization. Visit anytime to see the wonderful world that's in store for your campers!
Leslie Science & Nature Center is located at:
1831 Traver Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105
Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum
K-8th grade Unity in Learning summer camp programs will take also place at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum. The purpose of AAHOM is to provide an opportunity for people of all ages to discover and enjoy the wonder of science, math and technology in an interactive environment that promotes science literacy through experimentation, exploration and education.
In addition to their own ScienceWorks Lab rooms and local outdoor spaces in Downtown Ann Arbor, campers will enjoy over 250 interactive exhibits, each with a different focus to bring physics, geology, math, music and more to life!
The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum is located at:
220 East Ann Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48104

We will also explore this useful technology by building and programming robots to solve some different challenges.
FORENSIC INVESTIGATORS: 8/12-8/16
What happened here?! Let's find out using our forensics science skills. Examine crime scenes, investigate and collect data so that we can solve the mysteries presented to your team. Someone needs to decipher that code. Someone needs to collect fingerprints. Quick, before they get away! We will have to work together to crack the case! This theme includes an overnight at the museum.
