The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum is hosting a free family event with musicians from the Berliner Philharmoniker and the University of Michigan’s School of Music. Enjoy an Instrument Petting Zoo from the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra and hands-on activities like instrument making!

Berliner Philharmoniker performances are sold out, but University of Michigan School of Music events and the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra's instrument petting zoo are free and open to the public!

FREE General Admission tickets will be offered all day! (10am-5pm) *Pre-registration encouraged to assure we have enough materials for all!

Included with your general admission pre-registration:

What is an Instrument Petting Zoo?

Instrument petting zoos provide hands-on fun with instruments! Children have the chance to get up close and personal with the orchestral instruments they see professionally played on stage. Come try out an instrument or several!
