What Is Flutter?

Flutter is a fundraiser for the Access for All initiatives of the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and Leslie Science & Nature Center. On September 11, we’ll gather among the gardens at the Nature Center to enjoy a seated dinner, silent auction, wildlife experiences, and more. We invite you to reserve your seat above!

Access for All Initiatives

  • EBT Discount Program

Families receiving food-assistance benefits via an EBT card can enjoy Museum admission for just $3/person for up to six people per visit. The check-in process is quick and easy!

Learn more about the EBT discount here.

  • Scholarships for Schools

We offer scholarships to schools where at least 20% of students qualify for free or reduced-cost lunch. About one in every four classrooms that books a program with us receives a scholarship.

When you request a program with us, you will be invited to apply for a scholarship.

  • ASD Programming

Free sensory kits are available to neurodivergent visitors at the Museum. Our ongoing My Turn series is free to the public and offers quiet hours at the Museum for families affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or sensory processing disorder (SPD).

  • Physical Accessibility

Both our sites are verified destinations through Wheel the World, an accessible travel guide.

The Nature Center features wheelchair-accessible pathways, buildings, and our Nature Playscape. All four floors of the Museum are accessible via elevator.
