What Is Flutter?

Flutter is an elegant, educational fundraiser celebrating the work of the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and Leslie Science & Nature Center. On September 12th, 2025, we’ll gather among the gardens at the Nature Center to enjoy a seated dinner, silent auction, wildlife experiences, and more. We’re excited to bring this event to our community for a third year!

The Impact of Flutter

Southeast Michigan is a vibrant place to live and grow, yet many of our region’s children are not provided equitable access to learning experiences outside the classroom.

Our Access for All initiatives bridge the gap between underserved communities and lifelong learning. Scholarships ignite students’ curiosity through field trips and outreach programs, and reduced-cost admission makes memories at the Museum for families receiving food assistance benefits.

As a provider of STEAM and nature-based education, we want everyone to be able to explore the sciences—and this is only possible with you. By purchasing tickets to Flutter, you are creating transformative moments of discovery for our entire community.

Learn about how you can support our Access for All initiatives by becoming a Business Partner! Our Partners receive tickets to and recognition at our two annual fundraisers, Flutter and PLAY.
