Lisa Usselman has lived in various parts of Michigan all her life but travels frequently - she worked on a farm in Ecuador, studied medieval literature in England, and learned history in Italy while visiting every museum she could find. She credits these experiences for her obsession with museums now - she’s worked for almost all of them in Ann Arbor! When not at work, you can find her playing video games or hanging out with her chickens.

Alyssa Domen started working with Unity in Learning at the beginning of 2023 as a part-time educator. She has experience in experiential learning through working at nature centers, as a troop leader with Girl Scouts, tutoring, and leading teens in outdoor excursions. She is passionate about providing engaging educational experiences for people of all ages and backgrounds. Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys being outdoors, making music, and being silly.

Luke Jacobs

Luke Jacobs started as a camp volunteer and member of the Youth Guidance Team at Leslie Science & Nature Center. He went on to work as a seasonal Summer Camp educator while studying Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience at the University of Michigan, and has now joined the organization year-round as part of the Education team.
