Lea Marlor
Lea Marlor works as an Educator and has been working at Unity in Learning since 2023. She has a bachelor’s degree in materials engineering, a master’s degree in engineering education, and is currently focused on how to improve education within the STEM fields. Lea was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, which fueled her love and appreciation of all things outdoors. When not in the woods or teaching, Lea can be found traveling and exploring.

Dahlia Rose
Dahlia Rose, started working at Unity in Learning as a summer camp educator in 2024. She is an alum of the University of Michigan with her bachelor’s in Ecology, Evolution, and Biodiversity. She is passionate about encouraging people of all ages and backgrounds to engage in science. When Dahlia isn’t at work you will find her doing copious amounts of reading, enjoying the outdoors, or doing both at the same time.

Emma Muir
Emma Eichhorn came to the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and Leslie Science & Nature Center in 2023 after receiving her bachelor’s degree in animal ecology from Iowa State University. Her background is in environmental education and wildlife ecology, which led her to education at the Leslie Science & Nature Center. Emma’s passions include bird watching, disc golfing, drinking coffee, and petting dogs. She can sign the entirety of Hamilton and loves to spend her free time hiking an exploring with her husband, Adam.

Lauryn Pickett is a student at the University of Michigan, studying psychology and English. In her free time, Lauryn enjoys reading, bullet journaling, and drinking chai lattes. She also loves spending time with her family and her dogs, Stella and Finn.

Elisa Watson
Elisa Watson started out hosting birthday parties, then found a home working at the front desk and museum store. She lives nearby with her husband and son and is hoping to make a return soon to studying anthropology. In the meantime, she enjoys learning languages, growing flowers and listening to people's stories.
