This 10 kw solar electric system was built in 2007 by the Downtown Development Authority as the center piece of the Farmers Market Solar Project. Unlike carports built of large solar panels, this construction has thin film solar collectors glued to the metal roof. This photo shows the photovoltaic collectors (blue) in a section of steel roof.
