Tigers In The Wild @ Leslie Science & Nature Center
Cub Scout Tiger - Learn how to properly prepare for a hike in the woods, and then hit the trails! Through activities, games, and a hike we will discover what is “essential,” and how we can “leave no trace” all while exploring the wildlife—both in Black Pond Woods and in the Critter House— we are trying to protect!
Paws on the Path @ Leslie Science & Nature Center
Cub Scout Wolf - Join us for a hike in the woods as we learn about the wildlife that call Black Pond Woods home! On our hike we’ll identify different native insects, plants, and birds that thrive in the woods, and practice leaving no trace as we explore wildlife up close. We’ll also introduce how to read a map, and try using symbols and landmarks to help us navigate through the woods.
